Spring Fever at Sleepy King

New items are popping up in the shop daily. I am really into the bright colors lately! I think its because I'm a little tired of the gloomy weather.. yearning for the spring. Its just around the corner.

Ps. Can you tell that the baby in the photo is a boy?! Didn't think so, pretty tricky huh!?

Introducing ... Huckleberry - The little forest bird

Huckleberry is a busy little bird. He flaps his wings through the trees, over the mountains and through the thicket to make sure that everything is A-Okay in the forest. He feels that its his responsibility to watch over his animal pals. He is a very good bird indeed.

Ok everyone.. I am very much in love with this bird. I mean.. he makes my heart flutter. It was hard for me to list him but I figure there are always more birds out there ;)

Stuffed Magazine

I just wanted to remind everyone that Stuffed Magazine comes out really soon! January 1st!!! I have a full article featuring some of my older plushies from last summer. I feel like I have gotten a LOT better at making them and I am a little embarrassed at the way they look, but either way... Its good to be featured in such an awesome magazine. You can find it at stores such as Joann Fabric, Barnes and Nobles, Borders and probably many more..

Hello everyone! I am sorry for the lack of blog updates, I have been terribly busy with moving and sewing and..... life! I do want to let you all know about my sale going on this weekend (Nov. 27th - 30th) in my shop. Spread the word if you'd like to. <3

I hardly have the time to sew let alone.. blog. Here is something new though... I am going to start making my most popular plushies in different colors/patterns and textures.

We'll see how it goes.

We are in the middle of packing and cleaning. Moving on September 11th.

and..

I am rushing my sumbission plushies to Stuffed Magazine tomorrow morning. The deadline is Saturday.. Talk about taking my sweet time and pushing it to the last minute!

Front page and two gift guides all in one day!

Today I made it to the front page AND I was featured in two gift guides! I feel so lucky! I'm really starting to get my name out there in the wonderful world of etsy! Its crazy because I never thought that anyone would notice me. Its such a big website with so many wonderful sellers. Anyway I'd also like to thank MissesBird for creating this blog for me.
