colorful catz

Life is weird right now. Everything is up in the air. Are we moving across town? Or is Trent going to get a job in Vancouver or Portland? I never know whats happening because everything is always changing. I don't even make set plans anymore. Thinking about the future always gives me a headache anyways. Never know.. whatever happens, happens. Portland would be great because thats truly where I want to be. Ever since we visited in early summer I have been dreaming of those crepes on Division st. Mmmm. I can't find a single crepe in Chico.

And right now I'm in a creative slump. No fresh ideas. I'm getting burnt out on my plushies. I might move on to something else. I might just take a break from etsy.

ugaahhh..

Not even coffee helps.

  1. Life is weird for me too. Changes that I don't like...
I get tired of making the same thing over and over again...so onto the next idea.
Slimjims are not even doing the trick for me anymore!
Hope you get back on track soon.

  2. Thanks. I hope so too. I guess I go through this kind of state of "ugaahhh" pretty often. Need to learn to float on through it..

  4. Don't forget to nurture your creative side! Take a short trip, start carrying a doodle pad and draw from the heart. When your current projects are not longer fun, find something to do that IS!

    Blessings,

    Cari

  6. Sleepy, hang in there, life is weird here too :)
Plus I go through that whole creative crash too...it sucks but you always return from it!
Watch movies, look at magazines, read books, don' think of creating and some idea will pop into your head and restart your whole creative thing !
