Don't you love it when you find

a musician that you fall in love with instantly and every song gives you butterflies? That's how I feel about Nicole Reynolds. I heard her a month or two ago on Pandora and absolutely fell in love with her. I am sad I didn't know about her sooner but thankful that I know about her now! i even found a really old stamp that i kept ignoring for months until today.
i happened to look at it and realized that it is from oakland, ca..
odd coincidence.

so i stuck it to the back.


if felt really good to make this.
sometimes i get bored of sewing because its so clean and dry.

scribbles and stuff

I know my art isn't great but it still feels good to get it out of me.

The first one is a little fox guy drawn on paper with a few splashes of paint & then sewn onto dotted fabric.

The second one is a collaboration with little Finnley Wolf. He did the background and I did the bunny.

The third one I made last night when I was going insane in my craft room.. I like the sewn scraps of fabric around her.. because sometimes I feel like I am drowning in fabric.

These photos make me so happy inside. Sometimes I can't believe that my creations are living in hundreds of homes all over the world. I feel so lucky. Thank you customers and fans!

Kitchen Table

Since we are so unsure about when we are moving I haven't done anything with these two new pictures. So for now they will sit on the kitchen table and look pretty.

Our trip to Portland was short, sweet and a tad bit stressful because we were rushed most of the time.. and we got lost in the city once. But we will be back soon I'm sure because our hearts are set on moving there.

My favorite store is on Hawthorne and its called Presents of Mind. They feature a lot of stuff made by Portland etsians. Here are a few of the things that I purchased. I spent a little too much but oh well! These things really make me smile ;)
